During my short (two decades) of involvement with Rocky Mountain Corsa, I spoke with her several times by phone. The first was after her husband’s death, when I asked if she wished to continue to receive The Denvair News – her response was strong and friendly, still tinted with a slight Austrian accent: Certainly she wished to continue! The Corvair and RMC were part of her life, and life goes on.</p><p class="ydp494bf59ayiv9415609618MsoNormal"> </p><p class="ydp494bf59ayiv9415609618MsoNormal">The second call was several years later, during the process of updating RMC name badges. I reminded her that we had spoken before, and she laughed and said she recalled that conversation, too. I tried to convince her to come to a meeting or event to pick up her new badge, but she would not commit and asked that it be mailed to her.
