The VIN will denote a 1964 spyder from a common Monza. Only 1964 shows the Spyder as its' own model, 62-3 were still Monza model with spyder option. The VIN will show this as comparison:<div><br></div><div>40927 means </div><div>4=1964 (year</div><div>9=900 series Monza</div><div>27=cpe--------67=convert</div><div><br></div><div>40627 means</div><div>4=1964 (year</div><div>6=spyder instead of Monza</div><div><br></div><div>Only 1964 has the different model reflected in the VIN, thus we need to see the VIN to understand year and model.</div><div><br></div><div>Sorry that I didn't do well typing a note to Mike.</div><div><br></div><div>Happy Corvairing (when weather improves)</div><div>Steve</div></div>
