Hi, I just read your article in the Aug. CORSA about the new Stock Corvair
Group. I "had" a 65 Monza Convt. for about 10 years and learned that the
65, being the late style, was different than other late Corvairs. The one
difference I think might be most significant is the doors. I understand the
doors were changed in the 67-69 models because of federal requirements for
door hinge safety. There are other differences like the finish on the dash
panels, the design in the interior fabric, and the color of the emblem in
front. {grille} I share the unexplainable connection with other Corvair
owners, so I naturally share an interest in keeping the Corvair-all Corvair
and as stock as possible. I believe your efforts in compiling information
will be greatly appreciated and used frequently. I also support those who
choose to modify their cars. We all come together to make the CORSA society
complete and diverse. Thanks for your hard work and interest. e-mail me if
you wish at SKAN512 at aol.com
