Adding Garth Stapon to the cc list:

Fuel Pump

*	I have a copy of the fuel pump repair (rebuild) instructions from
McKinnon Industries (a division of GM Canada).
*	Is the “Made in Canada” on the bottom casting of the pump?

Rotor

*	The Delco rotor in my 66 Corsa is a “Made in Canada” part bought in
the early 90’s from the local GM dealer

Wheels

*	Garth Stapon’s 65 500 sedan has wheels with CANADA stamped on them
and if I am remembering they also said Kelsey Hayes or KH. (Its been a few
years since Garth exported this Canadian Corvair). The stamping requires
that the tire be removed from the rim to see it.

Air Cleaner Decal

*	My article on Canadian Stock in 1994 had a picture of the air
cleaner decal however the print in the Communiqué did not show the clarity
as well as the pictures we now have of Dave’s air cleaner. If the air
cleaner housing ever gets very hot the decal will be destroyed due to its
water transfer style construction. Dave is very lucky.

Hi,

Quite the bonanza research-wise over the past month or so:

*	Fuel pump: Rob Hall found an original pump on a low-mileage '65
engine with "Made in Canada" stamped on the bottom.
*	Ignition rotor: Same engine had a rotor stamped "Made in Canada".
*	Wheels: Rob also found some 5-bolt wheels with "CANAD" stamped on
the inside lip. Also is stamped "KELS". Dave Newell informed me that
Kelsey-Hayes made all Corvair wheels, not just the wire ones, and they had
locations in both the U.S. and Canada.

And we were able to verify one other item:

*	Air cleaner decal: David Robinson's '66 (#771), which I saw in
Buffalo, has its original decal. This matches the decal that James Hogarth
saved from a '66 years ago. Thanks to Bill Hubbell for the photo.
