[SCG] RE: Competitive event

All "events" are competitive to some degree, but to me, what i am
interested in seeing is the best of the "originals". And if someone
presents something to the group that evaluates out very highly, that info
should be shared with the rest of the Corvair community, so it may be
appreciated by all. It would also make a great article for the Communique. 
On a different take on this, the MOPAR people have what is known as
Platinum Certification where a team of experts pour over a vehicle to
determine its score on a very tough criteria. Date coding on hoses, wires,
belts, and components come into play.
Corvette people have their Bloomington Gold as well.

Keep it to no awards, other than the paper the evaluation is printed
on.........but give it the notoriety and prestige it deserves.
