[SCG] Horn-hole '60 on eBay

Hi Bill,
This car has been on eBay twice before and didn't sell. We '60 cavemen are aware of it. I'm especially aware, since the CPF will have #407 in Jacksonville where it will celebrate it's 50th Birthday to the very day!
Pete Koehler has been to see this car and it's so full of bondo that the front fenders aren't even the correct shape anymore below the side moldings. The horn slots are partially full of bondo and might be impossible to fix. The car's a poorly "restored" rust bucket. Pete had made a deal with the seller to buy the car but chose not to do the deal when he first saw the car in person, from a block away. Beware of eBay photos! The jury-rigged battery tray should tip you off that the car is a dog.
As far as we know, this car is actually the earliest known Corvair to still exist, though the serial plate and documentation from a still earlier car may be around. The seller apparently doesn't know this, and I'd appreciate it if he doesn't find out. It might keep the price down for some brave CORSA soul willing to tackle the car.
#407 is in far better shape. But if someone in CORSA buys 375, we'd still love to display BOTH cars in Jacksonville and would even buy two birthday cakes!

Someone has listed on eBay one of those VERY early '60s that have the slots
in the sheet metal under the front bumper for the horn. The VIN is
00769W100375 Does anyone know this car? Can anyone confirm or deny the seller's
assertion that "This Corvair is believed to be the 2nd oldest surviving Corvair
out there."?
