I know that my 1962 Monza convertible has the clean out holes, as well as my 1964 Spyder convertible.  I am not able to get to either of these cars presently, but hopefully later on in the spring.  Both are in long term slumber right now.  I was able to check my 1964 Spyder coupe that was built the first week of '64 production in August 63, and it doesn't have the hole covers.  This would lead me to believe that it was a convertible only item.

  Was this only on '64s?  Only on convertibles?
