<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Welcome. As we are new and just getting
started, still working out details of how to proceed, etc. In the
meantime, I am attaching copies of the Bylaws, etc. for you and all other
members (new and established). I can see we need to set up a website to
serve as an information exchange, etc. I will check with CORSA to see if
they can host the site, but will need help from members more savvy then myself
to set it up.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Bill</DIV>
<DIV> I read your artical on stock. You
are truly a man after my own heart. Stock is the only way to go. I have a 63
Spyder conv. I won the preservation award in Lake Placid for factory
stock restored. The next national I attended was in Carlisle. The car was
exactly the same as in Lake Placid, Claypool classified the car as
street stock. After a little discussion he said it didn't matter,
points was the name of the game why would I care how the car was
classified. Needless to say I have not shown the Spyder at another national.
The car scores high 90"s. I put another car together a 65 Monza coupe. I
took it to Kentucky for the nationals. Larry classified it as factory
stock restored, it scored 97+ not quite enough for the preservation award
but close. I am proud it classified as a stock car. So you see I do have
interest in stock Corvairs and I would like to join the group. I thank you
for your sincere interest in this project. Keep me informed on the
groups forming.</DIV>

Thanks John Tyger</DIV>
