<DIV><FONT size=2>Thanks, Bob. I've a few different coils with appropriate date
codes for my car. Is there a way to test the different coils with a DMM to tell
which might be hotter? Do you have examples of the two different '64 coils you
could run meter tests on to see? I'm also curious where the hotter coil info is
documented.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Hi Shaun,</DIV>
<DIV>Answer is yes and no. The 1962-64 turbos did indeed have a hotter coil.
In fact this is the hottest Corvair coil available. Hotter than the Pertronix
Flamethrower I. But no, in that the 1965 and 66 turbo coils were the same as
the regular cars and while hot, not so much as the earlier turbo coils.</DIV>
