Terry,

Guess what, you WON.

Seriously, because you and several of the temporary officers we put in place were not there, we decided to hold an informational meeting only.

We picked up a few members in S. Carolina which is GREAT. Chuck Madsen took all the names and dues and sent them off to Tony Fiore. I'm not sure who all it was. Tony is preparing a newsletter and it should be out shortly.

I know Gene wants to have a meeting sooner then the 24th, but anytime before that seems to be booked. I know Norm & Ed are working on the bylaws and once they are done we can send it out via email for everyone to yeah or nay them.

I will be posting the event on VV in a day or so. I am also doing a snippet to throw in the Communique. It will go into the February and March issue. One nice thing about the weekend we selected is that the Mount Dora Antique Boat Show will be held the same weekend. Since it's inception it has always been held on the 3rd weekend of March. I don't know why the switch, but it has been done. Naturally our $49 dollar rate at the hotel is now $79, but I haven't had a chance to negotiate with them, or see what they have available.

However, the wives or significant others as well as all of you will love this show. Chris crafts, Amphi-Cars, Woody's, you name it. Plus, Mt. Dora is a wonderful area to shop for Antiques and it has upper end specialty shops. The show runs Friday - Sunday.
