Hey all,

I know we had some questions regarding Insurance. Please see below. I
emailed Harry Jensen with CORSA and here is what transpired. This truly is
GOOD news.

Speaking of insurance, Central Florida Corvairs has ordered the Certificate
of Insurance for this event. The cost has gone from $70 to $100. Still a
great deal!!!

SAMPLE QUESTION:

A person is a member of Central Florida Corvairs. They are a paid member in
good standing. However, they are not a member of CORSA. Central Florida
Corvairs has paid their noncompliance fee of $20, which is our understanding
is to help offset insurance costs.

Remember Suzy Q from the Rustang club? Well, let's say she is a member of
Central Florida Corvairs now (yeah, she gets around) but, is not a member of
CORSA. Is she covered to participate in the Autocross in March? (remember
$20 noncompliance fee)

HARRY'S RESPONSE:

The chapter filing fee is not related to insurability other than to defray
some of the cost.

If Central Florida holds an autocross and invites SCCA and the Rustang Club,
all PARTICIPANTS are covered by CORSA's insurance whether they are CORSA
members or not. Membership doesn't matter as far as insurance coverage goes.

YEE HA!!

Anyone and everyone can participate even if they aren't a member of CORSA. I
still would like to have applications and see if we can't pick up a few!!!
