Hey all,
We had a great meeting this afternoon putting together the last minute
details into place for this outstanding event. I wish I had a camera with
me. Imagine if you will, all of us standing around Gene Barr's 2001extended
cab Chevy truck. In the back was a 66 110 engine that was on it's way to a
new home. We were calling it a modern version load side. 5 years from now
we will look back on this meeting and say that our very successful SECC
started in the parking lot of a Village Inn.
Anyway, we still have some openings for those of you wishing to come.
Remember, any make or model is welcome to run. Rumor has it our very own
Carbmiester - Grant Young, will be vending and racing his Pantera.
As an added bonus, we now have a loaner Corvair. Bob Bentz has secured a 66
Monza Coupe. Javier Brito is donating a 110 engine and differential. So
those of you who want to see exactly how nice it is to run a Corvair and are
afraid you may break your own, now is you chance. Just pay an additional $10
in your entry fee and you can drive it.
We are making this way to easy for anyone to say no. So come on, join us
March 28 - 30 in Ft. Myers. You won't be disappointed ! ! !
