[SECC] March Event

Can you believe it?  In a little over 2 weeks we will be at our second annual event.

This past Sunday Gene Barr, Ed Meadows, Leslie and I went out to watch the Martin club one more time.  Our very own Gene Barr ran the event and had a great time.  The Geezer performed well and is looking forward to a return trip at the end of the month.

We had the added pleasure of meeting up with Gary Meredith and his son, Brice.  Gary was racing his 944 and Brice was in his BMW.  Both of these individuals had the honor of attending the SCCA nationals last year.  For those of you who don't know Gary Meredith, he is a long standing CFC member, and possibly a Charter Member.  Gary starting his SCCA racing in a Corvair.  Gary had a fine showing and he said he will try and make it at the end of the month.  He's really proud of what we are doing in the SECC and will support us.

I have a request of all those who plan on running the end of the month.  Please write up a statement about yourself, where your from, what Corvair club you are with, the car your driving and how long you have been at this, and anything else you'd like to add.  This will be used by the announcer so the audience knows a little something about you.
