Great story Barry!!!

I love it, passing with 4 adults in the car. Did you happen to catch the
expression on anyone's face you passed?

The question is, will he pass anyone in Go Karts in Helen???

Subject: [SECC] BBB taken to lunch

I'm in Bethune SC, working this week, installing my software. I pulled the
BBB (Black Buzzard Beater) down behind the RV to drive around, to
lunch/dinner/errands etc.

I took 3 co-workers to lunch today. The closest decent place to eat down
here is about 10 miles away, in the little town of McBee. (each town has
ONE red light a piece). I was just a wee bit concerned carrying 3 people
with me, considering the trouble I had with the car at St. Augustine.

Down a long straight, I passed a tractor trailer, (legally I might add -
maybe a bit of speeding) which was following a dually towing a camper, on a
two lane road, with ease. Car pulled well, and I wanted to show them what
it would do anyhow. I wondered...when was the last time either of those
vehicles was passed by a Corvair. Passengers were fairly amazed that a
Corvair could perform like that, with 4 full sized adults.

During lunch, they commented about how much power it had, wanted to know all
about the engine, the different kinds of Corvairs, what I've done to the
car, how many I have, etc. One of the guys, who I happen to have alot in
common with, happens to be working on a 1968 Chevy S-10, 6 cyl. He's added
duals, power steering, etc. He was VERY excited about the ride.

After lunch, I had another opportunity to pass a couple of cars, so I did,
again effortlessly. And of course, I had to show them the excellent
braking, too.

So, 20 miles of driving, and it didn't tip over. Wow.

(Working on one last email for the day - stay tuned. Install is going so
well, I'm kinda bored, and 16 hour days get old. "All work and no play
makes Barry a dull boy.")
