WOW, thanks guys for great reporting!! I was thinking about you guys last
night and wondering how it was going.

I thought about doing my April fools one year that we were going to do all
the events at night, so I guess that really isn't a far stretch.

Hopefully you got some pictures we might actually be able to see. Maybe you
could video tape it and the next time we have an event we can watch it.

What a hoot, and autocross at night!!!

Sarah

PS: Why would anyone want to make sure their lug nuts were tight?

There were 78 drivers, split into 2 run groups. There must have been 40
different categories listed off. Except for pylon issues, and the one
wreck, they kept things moving along pretty good.

They ran the go-karts first. Although supposed to be 7, first kart was out
at 8:11. Took us 20 mins to get thru those FOUR drivers. GRRRRR. I had
to chew one of them out for cutting thru the course, and making Donnie and
another guy jump out of the way. He probably headed back to the start doing
about 30mph. But he was just a kid, probably under 14. That could have
been done better. Nobody knew to send them thru course, or send them thru
the road.

The 1st run group finished up about 10. After the go-karts, I told Donnie
we wouldn't be leaving until just before midnight. I looked at my phone
while we were packing up - 11:53pm, and still an hour from home. After
emails, wolfing down some food, and just general winding down, I was in bed
just before 2am. I'm a little late for work, but it's Patty's first day
going into school late, too.

Barry
