[SECC] Corvair for sale

A friend at work spotted a blue 65 Corvair near his home some time ago.  Not
being interested, I ignored it at the time.  As I ask around, not even Tony
knew about it.  It got sold by the time we got to it, but the guy never paid
for it, so it's back on the block.

 

It's a good looking 4 door, blue on blue, 65 4spd Monza 110.  It's got a
good starter body, with rust showing only behind the passenger wheel.  The
rest of the body looks straight.  Tony and I didn't pop the deck lid and
look.  Neither did we look at the inside too much either.  Seems the back
seat was a little ratty looking.  He says it runs good, and he drove it for
a year.  He bought from someone in Six Mile who went thru it.

 

Asking $1250.  Said he had it sold for more than that, but the guy who
"bought" it said someone tried to steal it so the wires are messed up, and
the starter might be messed up, too.  You know how the story goes.

 

If someone's interested, I can run back over there, and take pics.  If not,
I'll probably encourage him to ebay it.
