Hello,,, A few people have contacted me in regards to my Corvair Racer being pictured in the Jan. 2008 Grassroots Motorsports Magazine article on page 159. I just got my issue and was pleasantly suprised to find a color picture captioned above the article " Return to Crow Mountain". It is an article featuring a Race Report about Scca Competition in Alabama this past Fall concerning the Crow Mountain Hillclimb Event.... Its cool that they chose the #8 Corvair in Competition on Course as the feature Car for the Article..There were alot of neat Cars entered at the Event. I must say that my Stinger SS gets alot of attention at the Scca Events I entered last year, its a real crowd Favorite..Under the caption of the car it states--At Crow Mountain, the weapon of choice for Dan Giannotti was his awesome Chevy Corvair---...Made my day. In 2007 I ran the car in the Etrscca Scca Autocross Series, and the Sediv TT Series. We won the CPChampionship in the Autocross Series and finished 2nd in the GT3 Class in the Hillclimb and Track Events in the Sediv Series. We only lost first place by 6 points, and probably would have won first place for the year at the last Event had I been able to particiapate at Roebling Roads. It was a great year, we are looking forward to another in 2008.. August 1, 2nd 2008,  is a very special Hillclimb Event at the Eagles Nest Complex in Banner Elk, N.C. 1200 hundred spectators attended the Inaugaral Event last August. One of the most beautiful spots in the South, at about 6000'. Live music, great food, Car Show and the most beautiful scenery and homes you will ever see in your lifetime, along with us Racing up the Mountain. I invite you all to attend, the town of Banner Elk features quaint shops, restaurants and B&B accomodations. The Class Event of the year.. Happy New Year Everyone..
