[SECC] Dues

Is keeping up with dues something we really need to try and keep up  
with??? Each year in a club there is a person that tries to contact  
people to let them know that their dues need to be paid up to continue  
their membership. Then the dues have to be deposited when checks come  
in and notes have to made  addressing who has paid. Then more contact  
with people that are past members that have not paid yet. For 2008  
there were eleven people that paid their dues. I know nobody did not  
intend to not pay their dues and maybe they did not know when they  
were due, who to send them to,  or how much. This is why I have made  
this motion to do away with collecting and keeping up with membership  
dues.

I have proposed to Sarah that for the dues next year that we raise the  
registration fee a dollar or two and count our membership this way. In  
our by-laws you must be a CORSA member but other than that if you  
register you are a member and nobody has to keep up with dues and send  
out notices.

Sarah has seconded this motion and I am presenting it to the club.
