<html><P>On Saturday Central Florida & Sun Coast went over to Ocala to the Don Garlits Musuem. We were sitting under an over hang and a gentleman pulled up in a street rod. Real thing, not fiberglass crap.</P>
<P>He got out walked up and said something about the Corvairs. Someone said we were from Daytona and Tampa and didn't really pay attention to him. I looked up and did a double take. It was Don Garlits. I jumped up and shook his hand and then everyone followed suit and brought out the cameras.</P>
<P>I asked him if he would consider bringing his 69 to Jacksonville for the convention. He said he "might could work it out".</P>
<P>Ward was there and I ran and got him and then told him about the 69 and that he needed to go over and close the sale so to speak. Well, 10 mins later Ward comes back and said I have his private email and invited him to the autocorss. Don said that would be a hoot and said to keep in touch.</P>
<P>All this on top of "Big Daddy Don Garlits 2008" signing and dating our deck lids. It was a GREAT day!!!</P>
