Glad someone mentioned this......they ARE / were  a  great powerplant..

I.E.     replaced a 396  1973   Chevy 3500  dually / turbo 400    with  69 
472  /  Turbo 425 ...all else reamined the same.....

Unbelieveable difference in pulling [ torque]  and mileage.....11-13!!  with 
a 3 car hauler loaded!
