[V8Vairs] Stainless Steel Cooling Pipes

Ann Arbor was fortunate to have an "old timey" non ferrous scrap  yard.  
(sadly no longer there)  Over the years I saw some very  interesting items as they 
serviced the U of M and local industrial  businesses.  The price of items was 
usually established by putting the  items on a scale.  Years ago I bought 
several 45 and 90 degree bends from  brushed 304.  The pieces were new in plastic 
and sat around my shop  for years. I recently discovered that the insides 
were high polish "food grade"  pieces.  So after another trip to scrap dealer to 
get the material for  the straight sections, I'm about ready to get started. 
Does anybody  need SS pipes?  I doubt it but it really isn't going to cost all 
that much  and well ... why not? 
 
BTW, my 30 year old Crown pipes seem to be in  remarkably good shape with no 
rust on the inside.
