[V8Vairs] Frame under

Engine mounts were not moved on the frame so the engine weight will be as it
was on a G-Body. The nose on the corvair is just so much shorter than a
Camaro. My driveline came from a 89 firebird and that included the rad and
hoses. The rad, as installed, is actually further from the engine than it
was in the firebird. Part of the windshield wiper area was notched for the
distributor. If I ever change the motor I would like to do the next one
with an LT1 which sits lower and has no distributor.

" I would guess the weght to be 70% front and a total around 3300lbs. It
drives a lot like an older camaro."

That's what I was thinking. The engine looks like it has to be pretty far
forward, like over the front suspension and unlike F-bodies, there's not 4
feet of body in front of it.
