[V8Vairs] Rack and Pinion

Bob Coffins kit which was in my Crown was from a 240Z or 260Z.  I didn't
like the feel of it so ended up pulling it and going back to stock.  Stock
is by far the simplest most effective set up in my opinion.

I was wondering if there is anyone here who has installed a manual rack and 
pinion and could possibly tell me which rack is the most adaptable and fits
the 
Corvair's upper and lower control arm geometry.  My gas tank is not in so
the 
steering column linkage should not create too much of a problem as I am 
considering a fuel cell or a Mustang gas tank.
