I have a copy of your drawings from one of the V8 news letters and I thought 
they were very good.  They were very helpful, thanks.

The reason I want to purchase a welded one is because I want to hook it up to 
the existing rear mount and relocate everything into one unit - 2 inches back 
and 2 inches up.   With the cost of the steel and the amount of my time it 
would take to build a new one, I figure buying used would suit me better.

I purchased a '64 Riviera about 5 years before the Corvair.  Due to all the 
time I have spent on putting up the addition for our house, I just got it on 
the road this month...and for the last 3 years all I have wanted to do was work 
on my Corvair.  So, anything that will speed things up is fine with me.
