[V8Vairs] Coil springs for Crown conversion

Hi all. This is my first post here, but I have read nearly all the old posts and I recognize some names from other forums.

Anyway, the PO of my crown style conversion lowered the car by collapsing the springs with a torch. The oil pan condition tells me that this is too low!!! I am looking for more or less stock height, maybe even slightly higher than stock. Right now my solution is lift blocks, but I essentially have no suspension travel.

Clark's doesn't have the SB mid engine springs and I get the feeling that they won't have them in the future either. I contacted Corvair Motorsports and they no longer have HDs in stock height. So what are you guys using?

Am I over thinking things here? Should I just be using stock springs? I figure the mid engine conversion moves weight to the front. and the extra weight of the SBC is roughly equal to one or two passengers in the middle of the car.

So what is the rest of the crown world running?
