According to a '66 Motor's Manual stock oil pressure for a 215 is 33 lbs. I 
don't think 10 lbs, at idle, is very good. An old rule of thumb for SBC is 
10 lbs per 1000 rpm -> 40lbs at 4000. If your 10lbs goes up quickly once you 
rev it may be ok.
The idiot light senders are usually set to light the light at about 6lbs. 
Your 10 lbs sounds too close to that.
