jim-think you'll like this group as they are more tolerant of new ideas. the post about "pick your class first" before building is a true story(VBG). don't know about the rotation issue but have you looked at the high powered subaru's? build a custom frame with discs, coil overs, roll cage and etc and after cutting out the corvair floor then mount the body on it. if you keep the weight low enough 300hp will give you a great ride. from the setup in my kit car i would guess it's doable. basic idea would be to graft the corvair body to the subaru mechanics-mike mann
