Hello george, i use a stock corvair brake master cylinder for the clutch and a howe hydraulic throw out bearing (available from summit racing). i have been using this setup for a few years now with no problems,it works fine. a couple of other v8 guys use the mccloud hydraulic throw out bearing and complain about how hard a pedal they have. hope this helps, paul paulstrohl at yahoo.com 66 corsa with 350 cu in 400hp small block crown conversion.

dealing with the slave cylinder/release bearing & clutch fork, I was
contemplating swapping in a concentric slave/throw-out bearing. Only problem
is that the FLAPS has to have the year/make/model of the car. Needless to
say, I can't use the '65 Corvair for that. Does anyone know what application
works? Also, is there any modifications required to the standard Crown
set-up to have the concentric work?

Thanks,
