I'd go with the Hookers, as long as you do a trial fit first. Thicker material = longer life if cared for properly. Also, I believe the Hooker quality would be better.

Subject: [V8Vairs] Header choices

I have two sets of headers to choose from and I'm looking foradvice/opinions. The first is an original Crown set, I think they're 1-1/2" with 3"collectors.The others are Hookers, made for the Crown conversion. They are 1-5/8" with 3-1/2" collectors. They also have heavier walltubing.I plan to have them ceramic coated. The motor is a mild (RV) cam 350 Goodwrench with Edelbrock Pro-flo EFI.(305 HP)Car will be used mostly street, occasional racing. The extra set will go with the car I'm selling.Thanks,Toby_______________________________________________V8Vairs mailing listV8Vairs at corvair.orghttp://www.vv.corvair.org/mailman/listinfo/v8vairsThis list sponsored by the Corvair Society of America, http://www.corvair.org/
