[V8Vairs] Stock shift lever ...

  "...The car ran well, most of the time. It cooled fine. But was difficult to shift. 

  I called friend Pat Maceli again & cried to him. His answer was to install 
  the stock Corvair shift lever & linkage. Of course, the pattern would be 
  reversed, but so what ! Low would be where fourth normally is, but 
  that's no big deal !!

  The stock shift lever went back in and it worked in a smooth positive 
  manner and the pattern was much smaller than the [Crown] kit system..."
