I heard recently from a friend that had just purchased a small block Chevy block cast in magnesiumin the late fifties. (Another engineering piece I had never knownabout.) He also has an aluminum G.M. block, cast in 1959, similar to one I have. Ifanybody has any info on these blocks, I, and he, would be interested inlearning more. Thanks, Paul
