Hi Ken,

I don't have a target weight...it's just the idea of hauling extra pounds around that I haven't used in 30 years.   Did yours come in at 2450 with the roll cage?  Any suggestions where additional weight could be deleted?

Paul

My race car weighed in at 2450 with all the windows gone and mechanizms. Keep in mind this was a 90% race car, meaning it could have had the roll cage taken out and bolted back together.

What target are you trying to hit?

had my car weighed today.  (Crown, aluminum Chevy SB, Corvair transaxle)

2560 lbs. with 1/2 tank of gas
ront: 1120   Rear: 1440

works out to be     45% front   55%
ear  (w/o driver)

ow do these numbers compare to others who have had their car weighed?

oes anybody know about how much the side windows, with mechanizms, weigh?
they might have to go)
