I weighed the Radial TAs and Early Ralley Steel wheels  this  evening.  
Rear 
wheel and tire, inflated weighed 48 lbs ; a  front tire/wheel  weighed 47 
lbs.  Race trim (Bassett wheels and  Hoosier tires) would save  significant 
weight off the 2944  lbs.






For reference:
 15 x 7" TSW Aluminum wheels with pretty worn Kumho 205/50-15   710s = 
34lbs each
 15 x 8" TR motorsports Aluminum wheels with mid worn Toyo 225/50-15  RA1s
