The local club (Rocky Mountain VIntage Racing here in Colorado has an "out" for cars licensed to be driven on the road; so I am not require to have one (and haven't installed on yet).  Hopefully Mike Levine will chime in here.... I know he runs one (but I don't recall off hand the size, or which brand).
