[V8Vairs] help with Porsche "944" transaxle

..I picked this up earlier this year,cheap (comparatively),as another possible option to upgrade to a 'modern' 5sp..I've searched on GT40 and Lambolounge,and...for a guide to removing JUST the bell housing/diff case for welding and machining, or replacement with an Audi/Porsche 016/01E case..any help on this??
