Back-in-the-day (late '60's early '70's) the 'hot-set-up' was taking a clutch from a 265ciu Chev v8 and machine facing the female spline area to clearance for the Corvair... Anyone else remember doing that? ADE

> Hey Guys, You must be aware of this: I was running the Corvair drive train thru my mind over & over while watching the ball game. IT suddenly occured to me that the clutch assemby is way too big. I only used a 10.5 clutch Assembly behind my 400hp 327 "back in the day". The ole 'Vair doesn't have near the torque and no where near the HP's......... Right away I remembered the 10" pressure assembly from the G-10 van [I was a parts store owner for a few years]. Now all I need to do is find a 9&1/2 disc with 1&1/8 10 spline ,and I am in business. How many of you guys have tried this? How did it work out for you?
