Congratulations to Mike Meyers and his son Mark from Wood River, Il. They are participating in the Hot Rod Drag Week 2013. They both run in the "Daily Driver" category which I think has an e.t. minimum of 10.80 sec -1/4 mile. Any faster and your time doesn't count. 5 drag strips in 5 cities in 5 days and the car must be driven between events, no chase vehicles but the participant can pull a trailer. Mike was leading the Daily Driver class when they rolled into St. Louis (Gateway Motorsports Park) with a first day time of 10.84 in his white coupe. Son Mark, in the blue station wagon was down the list a little, although he did run today in the upper 11s. 
Way to go guys. That's one way to keep Corvairs in front of people.
