Smitty says:  As always, changing the offset is somewhat rough on
bearings.  Especially when you consider the tiny outside bearing on
Earlies.  Yes you will feel the change in offset by adding spacers.  You
start getting over 5/16 or 3/8 and bump steer becomes a problem.  Any
looseness in steering components becomes magnafied in brakeing.  Not that
it won't work.  Unless the rear camber goes over 1 1/2 degrees neg then
don't worry about it.
