<VV> Just a little reassurance. Pulling "engine only"

My problem = For some time I had had a strange noise in the engine. It has now, also broken off the starter snout. The consensus of opinion on the list is that the fly wheel is loose and in need of changing as well as fixing the snout and getting the broken piece out of the bell housing.

After getting the verdict, I stalled, dreading removing the engine, because I thought it would be difficult. Last night I started the removal and have the skirt, fuel line, battery cable, and throttle linkage off. As I look at it now it looks like all I have left is to pull the rear motor mount and lower the engine down till I can separate it from the transmission. Then just roll the engine toward the rear of the car.

My question is "is that all there is to it" it just looks too easy. I plan to pull only the engine, and so all I need is enough room to get the fly wheel off, replace it and line up the clutch plate again. Is there a danger of breaking the front transmission shaft, or is there anything else I should be looking out for?
