We in the Northeast Corvair Council are seeking a few volunteers who live
in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area.

As you may know, the NECC is conducting a driving event at the BeaveRun
Motorsports Complex near Pittsburgh on Monday, August 30, 2004.  In
conjunction with this we wish to facilitate the annual Corvair "Racers'
Reunion" on that Sunday, August 29.  The "Racers' Reunion" consists of an
informal Corvair display, seminars and tech sessions, and vendors.  The
emphasis is on Corvair racing past and present, but all Corvairs and all
Corvair owners are welcomed.

We need to arrange for a suitable host hotel for the events and for
lodging.  NECC members have already met with the track management and have
inspected some hotels.  But we're way over here, in New Jersey and New
England, and we need help from peoiple "on the ground" in Western
Pennsylvania.  People who can visually check out some potential hotels,
parking lots, parks, restaurants and the like.  These volunteers need not
negotiate with property management, we'll handle that or we'll work with
you, but we need at least your eyes and good judgment to scout locations
for the benefit of all participants in August.
