Corvair Motorsports is working with Silicone Wires as a distributor of
the new fast ratio steering boxes from
Flaming River. The boxes are bolt in for 60 - 63, but need adapters
for 64, 65 long shaft and late 65 - 66. Corvair Motorsports is
offering an adapter or U-joint for those years. We recommend a U-joint
for the 64 and 65 long shaft for safety since there is no collapsible
joint. Using the U-joint or adapter allows the customer to use the
stock shaft. Removal and modification of the shaft is required.
