Not the only, nor MAIN, reason to tie down the steering wheels.  It's a
SAFETY issue.   If you don't tie down the steering wheel, the wheels can
easily turn, and bring the car to it's side, into another lane, or off the
road.  It can easily start "fishtailing", and you could soon be facing
oncoming traffic, after a viscious 180 degree turn.
