Ken, I've changed several Corvairs and two Cadillacs all with high mileage engines over to synthetic oil with no problems. It's true that the synthetic oil does clean the engine very well but it leaves the crap in the oil filter. Ed Corson (CORSA member) IECC - Riverside, CA
