We use wheel bearings welded to small steel shafts on ours - much, much 
better quality than any OE creeper manufacturer is ever going to achieve! 
And they can be had quite cheaply, from junk yards etc!

P.S. Of course, one of the benefits of Lotus 7s is that they are so light 
that you lift them up (by hand!) rather than creeping under them!
