Yep, we ship quite a lot of gun related stuff, and have just about given up
on formerly useful but now nightmarish United Parcel Service. They seem to
have lost their center of the earth, as the old Indian put it .... and UPS
itself tells you that if it looks like a valuable package, it has a high
risk of being stolen by their own employees .......

$7.70 ... owch ... last week it was Lon's ( Underground ) turn in my
purchasing rotation, and I ordered a new fuel pump from him ( 2 Freaking
lbs ) and was in a bit of a hurry so asked for 3 day select UPS, so I could
install it over the weekend .... the pump was ~$30, holey tome-oly the UPS
charge was ~$20 ..... Lons service was excellent, UPS charge was
exhorbitant !! .... did I mention it took the full 3 days ?? Air Priority
would have been 2 days .... and the Post Office furnishes at no charge extra
.... what is about a $1.00+ shipping box .... !!!!!!!! For those of you
who havent bought any commercial new boxes lately ....

.... anyway, it is my opinion that it is the * UPS Brown Guys * that have
gone postal lately ..... and meanwhile, just maybe the reformation of the
postal department some 15 years ago is paying off .....

The Plan ::: Stop By next trip past your post office and hug all the
personel there ...
