On this topic, I found the attached website yesterday, of British Royal 
Marines slang:

Some of them are brilliant - I particularly like 'double-bagger', 'pavement 
pizza' (don't forget that pavement = sidewalk) and 'luncheon truncheon' 
(it's reference to 'luncheon meat', which is a kind of compressed pork or 
ham that comes in a can!).
