Dave,

I guess that is just an example of a trick that some people play with 
auctions.  Set an insane "Buy It Now" price and someone who doesn't know any better 
may just enter a bid at the merely over inflated starting bid.  All it takes is 
one sucker.  Notice that he states that it is in "excellent condition for a 
1965 book."  I am always concerned with qualifiers like that.  Who is to say 
what excellent is for a 39 year old book?
