Hmm.  Are you sure this is the Carl Sagan we know - the astronomer?  The
paper shows the car owned by "Carl Sagan, MD", but the famous Dr. Carl Sagan
had a PhD. in astronomy and astrophysics.  It might be a typo, I suppose.
