Hello all , good tidings to all. I am surprised to see another vair
wagon being customized.mine is dark purple with silver roof and fitch
stripes. Currently it is sitting at my house paint is done but needs
some areas re done ,and I had to temporarily put lexan windows in while
I wait for clarks to repro the side window weatherstrips.i made some
door panels but I need one 64 style drivers door used panel in good
shape to replace mine which was un recoverable. If anyone has a good one
I can use it .i am debating carpet ,and seat upholstery choices.I also
need to get the rims polished and need one outside door handle for the
passenger side. Bumpers are rechromed and the cleaned painted brackets
are back on ,but I have not put them on yet. I may substitute Studebaker
avanti front buckets for the vair type, just sportier and lighter yet
period correct.i drove the car a little and it handles awesome with the
fitch suspension but darn is it loud with no sound deadener or carpet or
weatherstrips,or door panels . I may get to the supercharger install if
I can free up a garage spot. As a side note I finally have a good tow
vehicle we got a laforza magnum suv, Italian military vehicle ,for the
us market it came with a kenne bell supercharged ford 302. If I can get
it to stop running rich it should be a rocket even with 5200lbs to haul
around ,came with a class 2 reciever hitch already installed. Best
wishes to all jeff angelli buffalo ny home of the international in 06.
