Me too - first time I hear about that story, will ask some local
longtime Corvair experts about this, wonder why they did not have
this story first.

Last months I have been several times in the Porsche research center
Weissach, south of Zuffenhausen, but did not see more than some
1956 Beetles and 2004 GTs on display ...

Maybe in spring I take my 62 station wagon there, got it's official
license tags just yesterday, it is the only fully street registered
Corvair station wagon in Germany at the moment ...
